  • The New Diesel Hybrid Technology - A Comparison By:-Clemons Reda
The world's first mass-produced diesel hybrid - that is, a car using a diesel engine backed up by an electric motor - was the Peugeot 3008 HYbrid4, launched in 2012. The 3008 diesel hybrid offers the fuel-efficient benefits of diesel and electric technology in one eco-friendly package, and is therefore much more economical than an equivalent petrol-only vehicle.
  • A Look at the Peugeot SR1 HYbrid4 Concept By:-Clemons Reda
When a car manufacturer announces a new and exciting piece of technology, it will typically give this technology a 'test run' in the form of a concept car. Concepts allow companies to showcase their most impressive new tech to enthusiasts and journalists, and to gauge public reaction to the concept based on the public's direct feedback and through journalists' write-ups.
  • Ten Things You Might Not Know About Hybrid Vehicles By:-Clemons Reda
Since the Toyota Prius was launched in 1997, hybrid vehicles have been steadily increasing in popularity as concerns over the environmental effects of exhaust emissions and the cost of fuel increase. Whilst low-emission vehicles were once considered to be fruit of the unrealistic daydreams of designers, they are now an established and - arguably - essential component of motoring's future.
  • The first encryption method By:-Mae Andohoyab
The first encryption method, called hashing, creates a unique fixed length signature of a group of data. Hashes are created with an algorithm, or hash function, and are used to compare sets of data. Since a hash is unique to a specific message, any changes to that message would result in a different hash, thereby alerting a user to potential tampering.
  • The ability to morph two pictures By:-Zamarga Koasa
Morphing is most often done with photographs of faces. Unlike other ways of combining two pictures, when photos morph, each facial feature - eyes, nose, mouth, hair, chin, cheeks, brow, etc. - is a blended meshing of the two original photographs. It is also possible to have an animated morph of two pictures. In this case, you see the transition of the two faces into the blended face taking place.
  • Microsoft's Internet Explorer By:-Kabayoon Ognawong
Microsoft's Internet Explorer is free to download from Microsoft.com. The Mozilla FireFox Web browser is free from Mozilla.org. Some users keep both Web browsers installed and only use Internet Explorer when a page requires it.
  • Broadband Internet connections By:-Jansma Asma
When shopping for a gigabit switch, it usually is important to ensure the item purchased truly is a switch and not a hub. An Ethernet switch and a hub are similar in their function, but operate quite differently. The primary difference that sets the switch apart is that each connection to the switch has its own dedicated bandwidth and does not share lines of transmission with other connected devices. This leads to less data collision and faster, more reliable communication speeds. Full Duplex is the term used for these kinds of speeds without data collisions.
  • Most popular digital video recorder By:-Mikeie Urong
One of the most popular digital video recorder features is its ability to fast forward or skip commercials. It also allows users to pause, fast forward, rewind, or replay live television. Since digital video recorders are connected to the internet, users can access and view their favorite shows from anywhere in the world using a computer and the DVR remote monitoring feature.
  • Modern computers are binary By:-Batikolon Ataynitatay
To help make computers more like our language-based way of thinking, groups of bits are joined into bytes. One byte is comprised of 8 bits. A set of 8 bits was chosen because this provides 256 total possibilities which is sufficient for specifying letters, numbers, spaces, punctuation and other extended characters. This very sentence, for example is composed of 125 bytes because there are 125 letters, digits, spaces and punctuation marks. Keep in mind that we are discussing pure text; some word processing programs, include other sorts of formatting data, and therefore the filesizes will be greater than the number of characters in the file.
  • The threads on the surface of a circuit By:-Milley Cyrus
Circuit boards were created in the mid-1930s, most likely by Austrian Paul Eisler. During World War II the United States produced them on a massive scale for use in war radios. During this period the invention remained confined to the military sector, and it wasn't until the end of the war that it became available for widespread commercial use. Commonly known as PCBs (printed circuit boards), circuit boards consist of an insulator (usually fiberglass), with threads of conductive material serving as wires on the base of the board. The insulator may consist of one or numerous layers of material glued into a single entity. These additional layers may serve a number of purposes, including providing grounding to the board. The threads on the surface of a circuit board are usually copper, created either by laying down individual lines mechanically, or by coating the entire board in copper and stripping away excess. Since the 1980s most circuit boards use surface-mounted components. These components are designed with small tabs, and are made to be easily soldered in place on the board with very little hassle. In modern circuit board production, this process is usually performed by placing the cool solder mixture, and baking the entire board to melt the components in place. Prior to the creation of surface-mount technology in the mid-1960s, all circuit boards used wire to attach components to the board. With the need for wire eliminated, circuit boards have become lighter and more efficient to produce.
  • Computer programming goes beyond software By:-Maria Osawa
Computer programming goes beyond software development. The profession also extends to the adaptation of software for internal use, and the insertion of code that allows a program to be modified for a function that is unique to a given environment. When this is the case, the computer programmer may be employed with a company that wishes to use existing software as the foundation for a customized platform that will be utilized as part of the company intranet.
  • The Java language program By:-Trixie Ann Manahsaa
The Java language is such that it allows cross-platform communication between multiple kinds of devices. For example, a programmer can develop Java code on a desktop computer and expect it to run on other computers, routers, and even mobile phones, as long as those devices are Java-enabled. This portability is described by the Sun acronym WORA, which stands for "Write once, run anywhere." A large number of mainframes, computers, mobile phones, and other electronic devices operate using the Java Platform.
  • Specific roles in life By:-Angel Andtam
Like ants and bees that have specific roles in life, application servers have specific parts to play in the overall anthill or beehive of your company. As with many things computer-related, there is a more complicated example. Oracle, one of the main server developers in the world today, has come out with a J2EE (Java Platform Enterprise Edition) server. A huge number of companies worldwide use the J2EE server, which is able to run very powerful applications that can be accessed by multiple computers connected to that server on a network, and so the term application server has come to be somewhat synonymous with the J2EE server.
